Challenge Yourself!

How often do you try to challenge yourself or try something new? It is good to push yourself out of your comfort zone and try new things. Starting with something small and increasing it more and more as you go can be a great feeling of accomplishment. For example, you can try to read an hour a day or even try something bold like rock climbing or running a triathlon.

Here is a list of benefits to challenging yourself:

  • Grow as an individual
  • Gain awareness, knowledge, and skills
  • Become healthier (mentally and physically)
  • Sense accomplished
  • Gain new experiences

There are many activities or events that would be great to challenge yourself. If you are looking for a way to challenge yourself, join our free triathlon challenge that begins July 22 at the RiverPlex. During this challenge, you can join an exercise class or utilize the bikes, treadmills/track, and lap pool to complete the total mileage for either the Half Ironman or Full Ironman Distance.
