Ryan received his undergraduate degree in May of 2018 from Illinois State University. His experience includes a background in personal training, as well as athletes’ performance. Through the last few ,years, Ryan has had the opportunity to work with and coach all ages. His recent internship with EXOS Athletes’ Performance also gave him the chance to work with the professional athlete population as well.


Ryan is originally from the Peoria area and has been involved in sports and fitness for a majority of his life and he is very passionate about motivating and helping others to achieve their health goals, whether it be developing strength/muscle, losing weight, or simply just improving ones’ lifestyle. Before obtaining a job at the Riverplex, he worked as a coach at the Orthopedic and Sports Enhancement Center in Normal, Illinois where he took high school and youth kids through plyometric and resistive training workouts.


Future plans include pursing a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology at Illinois State University and the CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist).
