Please note, the RiverPlex’s parking lot is a city-owned lot on a city street. During high-traffic times, such as large events happening on the RiverFront or in our arena, we are allowed to reserve part of the lot for members-only. We let our members know when parking may become an issue by placing signs on our front doors. Please contact a front desk staff person if you have any questions.
Permit Parking Only Signs
In order to better serve those with physical ailments, a total of 23 Permit Parking Only signs will be installed in our parking lot over the next couple of weeks. The parking signs will now be enforced by the City of Peoria, Monday—Friday from 6:30 am – 5:30 pm.
If a member or guest has a handicapped placard or plate, they may park in either the handicapped parking spaces or the permit parking spaces with the red signs.
If an individual is a patient of OSF Phase II pulmonary rehab, OSF Phase II cardiac rehab, or physical therapy, they can request a temporary placard. These temporary placards can only be issued by the aforementioned departments. The temporary placards can only be used to park in the red permit parking spaces, not the handicapped parking spaces.
Please note, OSF/RiverPlex staff can not issue temporary placards.
If a member or guest feels they should be eligible for a handicapped placard, they must see their physician to apply.
