AQUAPLEX
The Aquaplex at the RiverPlex is your year-round destination for aquatic fun and fitness! Featuring a spacious indoor pool with lap lanes, a warm-water therapy pool, and a recreational play area, the Aquaplex is perfect for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re swimming laps, taking a water aerobics class, or enjoying a family-friendly splash session, our state-of-the-art facilities provide a safe and refreshing environment to stay active and cool. Dive in and experience the ultimate aquatic adventure! Come enjoy our two-story water slide, lazy river, zero depth pool and splash equipment! The AquaPlex is included in a RiverPlex membership, and sells day passes for designated open swim times.
Lifeguard Training
Thinking about becoming a lifeguard? Get ahead of the game by taking a lifeguard training class offered year-round by the Peoria Park District! It’s never too early to get certified! You MUST attend all three classes in a session and pass the Lifeguard test to become certified. These classes are offered year-round.
Peoria Park District Swim Lessons
Registration can be completed at the RiverPlex, Noble Center or online. Please remember that if you are a RiverPlex member, you must register at the RiverPlex to receive your member discount.
Each session below is linked to our registration system, which gives specific dates and times of lessons. Keep in mind, during the summer months lessons are also available at Gwynn Family Aquatic Center.
Preschool Splash
Join us for this parent-child open time in the leisure pool. Children ages 0–5 enjoy the splash features and play stations with a parent/guardian who is dressed to swim. There is no charge for adults, but you must be in the water with your child.

Pool Rentals
Please email us at aquatics@peoriaparks.org to request scheduling all rental requests are subject to staffing and need 2-4 weeks of notice
We do not offer birthday parties.
Schools, scouts, and other groups wishing to rent out the pool or book time for their group are encouraged to email aquatics@peoriaparks.org to discuss options and scheduling.
